Omegler Changes Coming!

This is just a quick post to let everyone know that changes are soon to be coming to Omegler!

• REDUCED CAPTCHAS
• Yea, I know, right!? I believe I've figured out away to reduce them!
• NEW LOOK!
• A darker theme, which is being modified to be similar to the ice cream sandwich theme.

So, when can you expect this update? Well, the hope is sometime during the middle of the week, but we shall see!

FroMegle becomes Omegler (Oh! And Send Images to Strangers!)

Alright! New update is out!

For starters, FroMegle's name has now been officially changed to Omegler.  I even put up a small website if you're curious:  http://omegler.info

I'll be using Omegler's website as a base point for all uploads, such as logs and images.  Wait!? Images!?!

That's right! Images! A lot of commenters have been asking for a way to send images to their fellow strangers.  Hearing this call, I whipped up a way to do just that!

Now, when in a conversation, or before a conversation if that pleases you, you can hit menu and then attach to either take a picture or choose one from your gallery!  The image will then be uploaded and you can choose whether you wish to have a copy of the link on your clipboard, or Omegler will send a nice little message automagically for you!

SneakBook

I have quite a thing for sneaky interactions, for example, FroMegle's Spy Mode.  This time, my target is Facebook.  Throughout its short lifetime, Facebook has been notorious for having sub par privacy features.  In my new application, SneakBook, I take advantage of Facebook's short-comings and use their public utilities to allow users to explore Facebook posts by various users pertaining to topics of interest.  Also, with this application, I'm introducing a developer logo, Frosty the Arctic Fox.

Anyways, you should consider checking out SneakBook and searching for... interesting words... which might give yourself a laugh or two with how ridiculously silly some people are on the Internet.

FroMegle 2.1.0

Someone pointed out to me that I was exactly following the conventions regarding which chat bubble is on which side... So, in order to bring things back to the norm, I have given FroMegle a new face-lift.  I'm quite pleased with the results.

Alright guys and gals! I decided it's time to bring FroMegle's look into the 21st century!

Using the power of my limited art skills, I have morphed FroMegle into the ever-so-popular bubble chat style.  Please, share your thoughts!  Like it? Love it? Hate it?  (Please don't hate it.. I worked hard.. But! If you do hate it, please.. share your suggestions for modifying the style!)

Also... I'm considering changing the name to something more appealing... Such as:   Omegler.  Thoughts?

Androodle

Introducing -- Androodle!

Androodle is an application I decided to write after I realized I couldn't access http://two.drawball.com/ on my android phone in an efficient manner.  Androodle is essentially a clone of drawball, EXCEPT, it's not a ball, because that's inefficient with a rectangular screen... AND you can create your own boards to keep your collection private, or if you would only like to draw with friends instead of having others mess with your things.  (Oh, and not to forget! You can screen-shot and share your creations on Facebook, G-Mail... Just about any app you have installed that will let a 3rd party send a message!)

Anyways, you should check it out! As of today, it's still small, I just released it... But, as the community grows, creations will begin coming to life!

A few notes about Androodle:
 - Androodle is 100% free to use.  Your paint does deprecate like in drawball, but it does regenerate at a rate of 1,000 units per day.  If that's not fast enough, sharing a creation earns you 250 FREE paint units.  Also, clicking on ads earns you 250 FREE paint units.  If you don't like the clicking, there are purchasing options for large sums of paint. (Hey.. the server costs money.. I'm sorry.. :c )
 - You can create your own board that you can give a name and password (Password only if you want it to be private) and have your friends join you! (For a small fee.. again.. sorry.. servers cost money.. :c )

This just in! I have been working with PulsRadio in order to develop an Android Application for their streams.  I have just released today, featuring 3 of their hit stations:  Classique, 80, and Trance.  Know there are more stations to come in the future!

Currently, I have two different versions uploaded, a Lite where... sadly.. there are visual ads, and a full version, where there are no ads.  That's the only difference!  The funds donated from purchasing the full version go to the developer. :)
